How VIMIQ works

Onboarding

Before the first cycle begins, a one-time onboarding phase ensures the technical foundation is in place. This includes setting up SAP user access, configuring authorizations, and activating VIM KPI reporting across the development, quality, and production systems. Once this setup is complete, VIMIQ moves into its recurring loop of insight, decision, and implementation.

1. Analysis

At the start of each monthly cycle, VIMIQ generates process insights by combining system data with real user input. KPI reports and table exports form the basis of the analysis and are reviewed both manually and through anonymized AI evaluations. To complement this quantitative view, one randomly selected user is interviewed for 20 minutes, and two others are observed through short shadowing sessions. This approach captures actual system usage, identifies user pain points, and detects process inefficiencies that might not show up in data alone.

2. Decision

These findings are then distilled into a decision template that includes three tailored solution proposals—each based on specific insights from that cycle. The proposals vary each month and are grounded in observed behaviors and real-world issues, such as bottlenecks, rework, or incorrect system usage. Departmental decision-makers review the options and select the one with the most potential impact for their team.

3. Implementation

Once a decision is made, the selected improvement is implemented in a lightweight but effective manner. This may involve customizing and development, or producing high-quality, on-demand training videos in HD with professional audio. All improvements are followed up in the next cycle to validate their effectiveness and assess any need for fine-tuning.

Repeat

By repeating this loop month after month, VIMIQ creates a sustainable optimization rhythm. Instead of large, infrequent projects, organizations benefit from continuous, low-friction improvements based on real user behavior and data. This leads to higher automation, fewer errors, and a more intuitive, efficient VIM process—anchored in actual usage, not assumptions.
